As we enter the final stretch of the school year, we’re excited to share the important dates and details for the Class of 2025 senior activities at The "Great" James Madison High School! Please review the information below carefully and mark your calendars:

APRIL 2025

April 26 (Saturday) – PROM: A Night in Paris

• Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Location: 

  The W Dallas Hotel

  2440 Victory Park Ln

  Dallas, TX 75219

The best parking options are to valet or the parking garage across the street.  I believe both are around $20.

April 30 (Wednesday) – Junior Crossover (Senior Officers)

MAY 2025

The district’s goal for field trips are the safety of our students and staff and want to make sure that legalities are mutually agreed upon in the best interest of the district.  So at times, those are the delays and changes that are happening beyond our control.  They have many schools and contracts to look through and approve.

May - D&B – We are trying to solidify a date for the week of May 5-9 (Not official until stated).  It is already in the works and you will be notified as soon as we get the approval

May 9 (Friday) – Six Flags Grad Nite

• Dress Code: Senior Shirts

• Departure from Madison: 5:00 PM

• Return to Madison: 1:00 AM

Cap & Gown Delivery - (May) TBA

Last Day for Seniors May 16, 2025

May 20 (Tuesday) – Currently, Andretti’s and the DISD could not agree on contract terms and we are unable to attend there.  I am searching for a replacement location on the same date and time. 

• Dress Code: Senior Shirts

• Departure from Madison: 12:00 PM

• Return to Madison: 6:00 PM

May 23 (Friday) – Epic Waters

• Dress Code: Appropriate Bathing Suits

• Departure from Madison: 9:00 AM

• Return to Madison: 3:00 PM

TBA (Date Coming Soon) – Graduation Rehearsal

• Bus Pick-Up: 9:30 AM from Madison

• Bus Drop-Off: 1:30 PM

May 31 (Saturday) – Graduation

• Arrival Time: 7:55 AM

• Processional Walk-in Starts: 9:00 AM

• Location: Forrester Field House, 8233 Military Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75227

Additional Important Dates

• Community Service Hours Due: May 19

• All Work Completed By: May 20

A Final Message to Seniors

With just two months left, remember that students grades, attendance, and behavior matter more than ever. Poor performance or misconduct can impact their eligibility to participate in senior activities, including graduation. Stay focused, make wise choices, and finish strong. They've come a long way—let’s help make these last months count!
